September 2012 Small

This month's small was selected and stitched by Patti. Isn't Miss Fancey just perfect???? This is Fancey's Sunflowers by Pineberry Lane. I just love Pineberry Lane!!

Patti stitched hers without the bottom part that lists the year 1799.

Aren't these DMCs just Gorgeous!!!!!

Here is the kit information:

There are four kits this time, all with Pineberry Lane pattern, Picture This Plus Heritage linen and the 11 skeins of DMC. The fabric counts in the kits are 40, 36, 32 and 14. The linen kits are all $26.00 each and the 14 count Aida kit is $24.50.

Please let Cathy know which kit you would like and it will be winging its way to you!!!! I can't wait to stitch this one. Thanks Patti for such a wonderful choice!

Ack! Ok, I need to order a few more of these kits. lol! This one included! I also need to stitch them. :D

Why Smalls?

Like me, I am sure that you have two tons of samplers to stitch. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to have so many big projects to work on.

I was daydreaming about having a basket of pin cushions and ornaments one day. Then, being the nerd that I am, I declared that 2012 would be the Year of Smalls!

Then I took it a step further. Wouldn't it be fun to get us all whipped up into a frenzy of smalls???

So, here is the scoop, every month on the 15th I will announce a new small that we can all ooh and ahh over and stitch together!!!

I conspired with my LNS owner, Cathy, of Inspired Needle and she has kindly agreed to have the charts available at her store and she is even going to kit them up!! So, you can either order just the chart or the whole kit and kaboodle from Inspired Needle in Lemont, Illinois.

Needless to say I am just thrilled and I hope that the year of smalls will catch on and become just as exciting for you too!
