Hello everybody!

I just joined up this weekend and see lots of familiar 'faces' here.   I haven't gotten the Pointsettia House pattern or supplies yet so I'll be playing catch-up on that one but anxiously looking forward to joining in with the February project.

It's great seeing all the stitching energy flowing as people start new projects, pull out old UFO's and WIP's, and make lots of new plans for 2012.  I hope we all have 12 finished smalls to show by the end of this year.  I'm determined to also fit in some smalls I've had kitted up for a long time.   I started Quaker Hornbook by With My Needle earlier this week.  It's been sitting in my stash for probably 5 years - yikes!   It's stitched over-1 on 32-ct linen with a Dinky Dyes silk.   I hope to get it done this month.

  7. Hi there Jeanne - glad you decided to join the "smalls" blog. I had some renewed interest in my WMN Quaker Hornbook in 2011 also - mine was stashed forever but we had 2 visits from Ellen in our area last year and I wanted something of hers to work on (like I don't have dozens of WMN projects in progress) - Let's make a pact to finish them in 2012.

  8. For sure Mel - I'm hoping to finish stitching it this month, I have the hornbook and everything so it won't take much time to do the finishing. I see the pattern is dated 2007 so at least we're only 4 yrs behind instead of 5 LOL. Get yours out and start stitching!

  9. Make that 3, Jeanne & Mel. I am about 1/2 way done with WMN Quaker Hornbook. I will try to remember to post a pic of my progress tomorrow! We will keep each other motivated.
